The BC Afghanistan Memorial

The Greater Victoria Afghanistan Memorial Project (GVAMP) Society created this permanent, public memorial to recognize all members of the Canadian Armed Forces and the Public Service of Canada who served their country during the Mission, GVAMP will honour and draw public attention to their service and the Afghanistan Mission. The Memorial will specifically list by name all members of the Canadian Armed Forces and the Public Service of Canada who made the supreme sacrifice during the Mission. In addition, the Memorial will recognize the support of families and those who returned with mental and physical wounds.
